A social media post from the Gresham Police Department indicates detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that happened this afternoon. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 16400 block of Northeast Glisan Street just after 4 PM.

At the scene, authorities found two people suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Authorities say the victims were transported to a local hospital along with a third person who was also injured during the disturbance. The Gresham Police Department announced that one of the gunshot victims died at the hospital.

The victim will not be identified until the next of kin has been notified. The East County Major Crimes Team is handling the investigation. Authorities believe multiple witnesses saw what led up to the shooting.
