The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has announced the arrest of a Centerville man following two fatal shootings. According to a news release from the TBI, an investigation by special agents had resulted in the arrest of a man in relation to a subsequent deadly shooting.

On December 15, 2023, agents began investigating the fatal shooting of Wallace D. Rediker who was found shot outside his residence in the 3100 block of East Beaverdam Road. Agents say they determined that his neighbor, David N. Katahn, was responsible. Katahn was fatally shot in his driveway.

Now, agents have identified John E. Rediker as the person responsible for Katahn’s fatal shooting. Friday evening, TBI agents apprehended John E. Rediker on a charge of Criminal Homicide. He was booked into the Hickman County Jail where he is awaiting his first court appearance.
