The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has announced an arrest in connection to a homicide in Campbell County. The investigation was handled by the TBI and the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office.

On July 17, TBI joined the investigation into the death of Audie Green who was found fatally shot inside a vehicle along Highway 25 West in Campbell County. Authorities say they determined that Joshua Cox had been a passenger in the vehicle and was responsible for Green’s death.

TBI agents obtained a warrant for Cox charging him with one count of Second Degree Murder. He was already in the Campbell County Jail on unrelated charges.
