Tavares, Florida – The Tavares Police Department is investigating a death on Main Street between North New Hampshire Avenue and North Rockingham Avenue.

According to a TPD statement, crime scene tape is up between those streets. Police ask that everyone use an alternate route because the streets are blocked.

Police say the preliminary findings indicate that this is an isolated incident. TPD’s Criminal Investigations Division and Crime Scene Investigator are responding to assume control of the investigation.
