The Tacoma Police Department is investigating the fatal stabbing of an adult male. Around 11 p.m. on December 27, 2023, officers with the Tacoma Police Department responded to a possible stabbing in the 2800 block of Bay Street East. At the scene, officers found an unconscious male. Life-saving measures were immediately taken.

The Tacoma Fire Department reached the scene a short time later and transported the 64-year-old male victim to a local hospital where he passed away. Crime Scene Technicians have arrived and are actively investigating the incident as a homicide.

The Tacoma Police Department said no arrests have been made at this time.
