The San Jose Police Department was involved in an officer-involved shooting on Sunday. SJPD reports that its units are currently on the scene in the 4200 block of Senter Road investigating an officer-involved shooting.
Initially, SJPD received multiple calls about a person actively shooting a firearm outside of a business. Callers also said that a person had been shot. At the scene, officers located the suspect who was still armed.
At least one officer discharged their firearm. The suspect was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. SJPD says a shooting victim was dropped off at an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
