The Susanville Police Department says it is investigating a double deadly shooting that occurred early Saturday. SPD reports that dispatch received multiple calls about a shooting in the area of Grand Avenue and Fifth Street in Susanville around 10:10 a.m. on November 9.

The Susanville Police Department, California Highway Patrol, Lassen County Sheriff’s Office, and Cal Fire responded to the scene. SPD says two individuals were found in a vehicle. Those two individuals were pronounced deceased at the scene.

SPD says there is no outstanding suspect or threat to the community. No other details are being provided at this time. SPD urges anyone with information to contact Officer Capron at 530-257-5603 extension 6021.
