Officers with the Stockton Police Department worked an armed robbery and armed carjacking in the 1900 block of South El Dorado Street on December 23, 2023, at 6:15 a.m.

A 23-year-old man told officers that he was working with a male entered the business and brandished a firearm. The suspect fled with store property. A short time later, the suspect returned and took a car key belonging to a customer of the business. The suspect described as a Black male between 30 and 40 years of age fled in the stolen vehicle.

Stockton Police officers responded to the area of Commerce Street and Scott Avenue at 1:30 p.m. to investigate a stabbing. Officers made contact with a 47-year-old male suffering from a stab wound(s). The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Both crimes are still under investigation. No further details are available at this time.
