The Stockton Police Department has announced an arrest of a third suspect in connection to a double homicide in the 2100 block of South Airport Way on March 4, 2024. SPD said detectives have continued to work on the case since the homicide occurred.

An arrest warrant was issued for 27-year-old Derek Yatil Gordon in connection to the slayings. On March 1, Gordon was brought in for questioning after being arrested by the US Marshal’s Task Force in Las Vegas. He was subsequently booked on homicide-related charges.
