Steven Hollingsworth pleads guilty to attempted murder for shooting at KOA Campground

Update – PCSO reports that Steven Hollingsworth has been sentenced to 24 years in the Colorado Department of Corrections.

 

Original – A 54-year-old man has pleaded guilty to attempted murder in connection to a shooting at a KOA Campground north of Pueblo, Colorado. According to the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office, Steven Hollingsworth pleaded guilty to second-degree attempted murder.

On December 29, 2023, Hollingsworth allegedly shot a 30-year-old man at the campground. Sheriff’s Office Special Investigation Detectives investigated the incident. The victim suffered serious injuries. Hollingsworth has been in custody at the Pueblo County Jail since he was arrested on December 29, 2023.

He will be sentenced on June 11, 2024.
