A 32-year-old female was arrested in connection with a fatal shooting at a residence on Oxford Drive. Stephanie Gray of Laurel, Maryland was charged with first-degree murder.

Laurel Police Department was dispatched to the 14000 block of Oxford Drive around 7:40 p.m. on December 15, 2023, to investigate a report of a shooting. Responding medics transported the victim to an area hospital where the victim was later pronounced deceased.

Following a preliminary investigation, authorities determined Gray and the victim were in a domestic dispute when Gray shot the victim. Gray fled the scene before officers arrived.

Gray was apprehended hear the crime scene a short time later.
