A man is dead following a shooting in Modesto, California. Now, the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident. SCSO reports that deputies responded to a report of a verbal argument and shots fired in the 400 block of Kerr Avenue around 3:05 p.m.
A citizen driving by picked up a person and drove him to a nearby ambulance in the 300 block of Kerr Avenue. Medical personnel pronounced the man deceased. Major Crimes Unit detectives responded to assume control of the investigation.
SCSO says the detectives have not confirmed the identity of the victim at this time. He is described as a white male in his mid-thirties. No other details are available.
