The US Attorney’s Office for the District of New Mexico has announced a guilty plea in a 2020 murder. According to a news release, 53-year-old Stacey Yellowhorse pleaded guilty to second-degree murder on Thursday. This is the second guilty plea in the brutal murder of a Gamerco, New Mexico woman.
Yellow’s codefendant, Timothy Chischilly, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder on February 6, 2024. During the night, they restrained and bludgeoned the victim to death.
Then, they allegedly burned the victim’s remains. Yellowhorse will remain in detention until sentencing which has yet to be scheduled.
