The St. Louis Police Department is on the scene of a shooting. According to police, District 4 detectives are investigating a shooting at Bailey and North Garrison.

Police believe that a 14-year-old accidentally shot his 16-year-old friend while they were attempting to carjack an adult male victim. Police say the 16-year-old is stable at the hospital.

The 14-year-old has been taken into custody. According to St. Louis Police, the adult male victim was not injured during the incident.
