The Spokane Police Department has announced that it is investigating a double fatal shooting in the area of Cleveland and Cuba. Around 11 PM on December 8, 2023, officers with the Spokane Police Department responded to several reports of gunshots heard in the area.

Upon arrival, officers found an adult male and an adult female deceased. According to Spokane Police, the male victim was found deceased in a vehicle. The deceased adult female was in the road nearby. Authorities are asking for witnesses or anyone with surveillance footage to contact Crime Check. The Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene to investigate.

The Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the identities of the deceased as well as the cause and manner of death at a later time. Anyone with information or surveillance video should contact Crime Check at 509-456-2233.
