The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a double shooting that occurred earlier today. According to SCSO, deputies responded to Halsey Avenue in reference to a shooting around 12:25 p.m. on February 21, 2024. At the scene, deputies found two victims with gunshot wounds and a black Ford sedan.
One victim was transported to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening wound. The second victim was found inside the vehicle deceased. SCSO said the Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as Mr. Thompson. No other details are available at this time.
