South Bend Police investigating triple shooting at Miami Hills Apartments

Three individuals have been shot in South Bend. The victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The South Bend Police Department is currently investigating the shooting.

SBPD reports that officers responded to the Miami Hills Apartments in the 3400 block of High Street for a reported shooting around 12:20 a.m. on June 4, 2024. At the scene, responding officers found three victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victims were transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. SBPD confirmed that one person has been detained. There is no ongoing threat to the public, according to SBPD.

The shooting is being investigated by the South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit.
