A Los Angeles man was arrested by the Simi Valley Police Department on Saturday. SVPD reports that citizens called to report a subject trying to get into houses in the 900 block of North Stanford Drive around 9 p.m. on June 1, 2024.
Officers responded and located the suspect who was later identified as 39-year-old Victor Rubio. SVPD says it was determined that Rubio knew someone in the area and was attempting to find their residence.
Authorities claim that Rubio was in possession of a pistol and a large quantity of drugs. As a result, he was arrested before being booked into the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility.
Rubio is charged with Trespassing, Delaying a Peace Officer, Possession of a Concealed Firearm, Possession of a Firearm while in Possession of Drugs, and Possession of Drugs for Sale. No other details are available.
