Shooting near Club Reflextions leaves 17-year-old with five gunshot wounds

The Albany Police Department said in a media release that a 17-year-old had been shot five times near Club Reflextions.

According to APD, officers received a call from Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital around 12:55 a.m. on November 24, 2024.

Police say they were informed that a 17-year-old had been dropped off at the hospital and that the victim had been shot five times.

APD says officers learned that an altercation stemmed from an argument at Club Reflextions at 312 Thornton Drive. The shooting reportedly occurred a short time later near the intersection of Thornton Drive and East Oglethorpe Boulevard.

No other details are available at this time.
