Hillsborough County, Florida – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office says it is investigating a fatal shooting on Wednesday night.

According to a statement, HCSO is investigating a death after a fatal shooting at the Circle K at 11755 County Road 579.

Around 8:30 p.m. on January 15, 2025, deputies responded to the store for reports of a shooting. HCSO says its deputies found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound.

The man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Authorities are working to determine what led up to the shooting.

HCSO has not said anything about the suspect at this time. Authorities ask anyone with information to call detectives at 813-247-8200.
