The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting a homicide investigation after the discovery of a deceased man. SCSO reports that deputies responded to an armed disturbance call in the 12000 block of Highway 64 around 12:40 p.m. today.

At the scene, deputies found a vehicle in a wooded area near a closed business. A deceased male was found suffering from a gunshot wound in front of the business. The crime scene is active and the investigation is ongoing.
