In April 2023, Zero Waste Solutions discovered the remains of a female infant at a recycling facility in Rochester. Massachusetts detectives believe the infant’s mother is connected to or visited Martha’s Vineyard because the trash seems to have come from the island, according to AP News.

The remains of a female baby were discovered earlier this month in rubbish outside an apartment complex in Revere.

On November 10, 2023, authorities were dispatched to the same recycling center on Cranberry Highway. Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz released a statement saying the baby’s remains were among trash trucked to the recycling center.
