Seattle Police investigating after 26-year-old man stabbed in Capitol Hill in Seattle

The Seattle Police Department is investigating a stabbing that happened on Sunday morning. According to an SPD media release, officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 1500 block of 10th Avenue just before 2 a.m. on Sunday. At the scene, responding officers found a 26-year-old man suffering from a stab wound.

The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition. SPD says witnesses reported there was an altercation before the stabbing. At this time, police are trying to determine what led up to the stabbing. SPD says male suspects fled the scene after the stabbing.

The suspects have not been identified and no arrests have been made.
