Seattle Police Department detectives investigating suspicious death downtown

The Seattle Police Department is investigating a suspicious death downtown. According to an SPD media release, a body was found in a vacant parking garage in downtown Seattle Sunday afternoon. Around 1:30 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Columbia Street for a report of a deceased male.

At the scene, officers found the victim in the vacant parking structure. Homicide detectives and Crime Scene Investigation Unit members arrived. The King County Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death. No other details are available at this time.
