The Seattle Police Department announced that detectives are investigating a shooting that injured a male in his 30s in a Northgate neighborhood. Just after 5:30 p.m. on January 18, 2024, 911 received reports of a shooting in the 11000 block of Roosevelt Way Northeast.
Officers reached the scene and found a male with a gunshot wound to the leg. Medical aid was provided until the victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious but stable condition. According to SPD, a witness said the victim had entered the suspect’s vehicle and an altercation ensued.
After being shot, the male victim was pushed from a vehicle described as a green sedan. The suspect fled the scene. Seattle Police Department Robbery Unit detectives responded to investigate the circumstances that led up to the shooting. At this time, no suspect has been identified.
