Seattle Police arrest juvenile for shooting on 32nd Place Southwest

The Seattle Police Department has announced an arrest in connection to a shooting in West Seattle on June 10, 2024. SPD reports that a juvenile was arrested and a firearm was recovered following the shooting.

Around 11:53 a.m., SPD officers responded to a report of three juveniles shooting a gun in the 10100 block of 32nd Place Southwest near an occupied residence. SPD processed the scene for evidence and spent shell casings were found near a small pond.

No injuries were reported in connection to this shooting. SPD says two of the three suspects fled on foot but were located. One juvenile was in possession of a semi-automatic handgun and arrested.

One was investigated and released. The third male juvenile has not been located. A 16-year-old juvenile was booked into juvenile detention for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
