A person has been shot in Savannah, Georgia. The Savannah Police Department has responded to the scene and is currently investigating the shooting. SPD reports that its detectives are investigating the shooting of an adult male found in the 3600 block of Ogeechee Road on May 20, 2024.
Officers responded to the scene around 2:15 p.m. for a report of a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. At the scene, police provided medical aid until the victim could be transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center.
SPD confirms the investigation is ongoing. No other details are available at this time.
