In Georgia, the Savannah Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that has claimed one life. SPD reports that its officers responded to a shooting in the 700 block of Tatem Street around 11:37 p.m. on June 4, 2024.
Initially, SPD said the victim had suffered a serious injury. In an update, SPD confirmed that the victim had succumbed to their injuries and the case was being investigated as a homicide.
