The Santa Ana Police Department has announced an arrest in a homicide on Thursday. Around 3:15 p.m. on February 15, 2024, SAPD received a report of a male bleeding from a stab wound to his torso in the 2000 block of West Chestnut Avenue.

The victim was later identified as 44-year-old Rodolfo Rosell. The victim was pronounced deceased by Orange County Fire Authorities. Homicide Section detectives took control of the investigation and identified the suspect as 35-year-old John Danny Tamallo Flores.

Around 1 p.m. on February 17, 2024, Flores was arrested in the area of 2300 North Grand Avenue. He was booked on a charge of Murder.
