The San Jose Police Department is currently on the scene of a fatal crash. San Jose Police Media Relations reports that units are in the area of Leigh Avenue and Camden Avenue for a report of a fatal vehicle versus pedestrian collision.

The pedestrian was fatally struck and pronounced deceased at the scene. SJPD confirms that the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Traffic in the area will be impacted.

Westbound Camden Avenue is closed from Leigh Avenue to Charmeran Avenue.
