The San Francisco Police Department has released a statement following the discovery of a deceased individual on Nancy Pelosi Drive. SFPD says officers responded to the unit block of Nancy Pelosi Drive for a death investigation around 1:17 p.m. on August 11, 2024.

At the scene, officers found an unresponsive adult male lying on the ground. The adult male was pronounced deceased by medics. The Medical Examiner responded to the scene to investigate.

SFPD says no signs of foul play were found during the preliminary investigation which remains active. The victim was found roughly one and a half miles away from the Outside Lands music festival perimeter.

There is no evidence that the death is related to the event.
