According to a social media post from the San Francisco Police Department, detectives are investigating a homicide in the Tenderloin District. Around 4:20 PM on November 25, 2023, officers responded to the 200 block of Golden Gate Avenue in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located two adult males with apparent gunshot wounds.

Both victims were transported to a local hospital. Authorities say a 40-year-old male succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The other victim has non-life-threatening injuries. SFPD’s Homicide Detail responded to the scene to take over the investigation.
