San Antonio, Texas – The San Antonio Police Department says it has arrested a 24-year-old man after the victim’s parents reported an alleged ongoing sexual relationship with the teen victim.

According to an SAPD statement, 24-year-old Cesar Ulises Renderos has been charged with Sexual Assault of a Child. Investigators are worried there could be more victims who have yet to come forward since Renderos works with a non-profit that mentors youth.

Investigators do not believe the victim and suspect met through the program. Authorities say Renderos could face more severe federal charges as the investigation continues.
