The Salt Lake City Police Department is investigating a workplace shooting that claimed the lives of two men. SLCPD said in a media release that there is no outstanding suspect or danger to the public based on the preliminary information.

The investigation began around 2:33 p.m. on March 3, 2024 when dispatch received a call about a man with a gun at a business at 1678 South Pioneer Road. Responding officers found two men deceased. One man was inside the complex and the other was outside.

Officers say they recovered a firearm near the man outside. No other details are available at this time.
