The Saint Paul Police Department responded to a fatal pedestrian crash at the intersection of Maryland Avenue West and Park Street. Officers were called to the scene around 8:15 p.m. after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection. Saint Paul Fire Medics were also called to the scene and pronounced the adult male deceased.

A dog with the adult male victim was also killed. The driver of the automobile remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigations. The Saint Paul Police Department said the circumstances of the crash are under investigation.
