The Saint Paul Police Department is investigating an officer-involved shooting. According to a social media post from the Saint Paul Police Department, a Saint Paul Police Department officer was involved in a shooting around 12:18 a.m. this morning in the 400 block of Thomas Avenue West.

Police say the man was shot and transported to Regions Hospital for treatment. No police officers were injured. Saint Paul Police will be holding a media availability regarding the incident at 6 a.m. at the SPPD Headquarters at 367 Grove Street.
