Update – The SCSO has confirmed the 15-year-old shooting victim has been pronounced deceased at the hospital. Homicide detectives are responding to the scene. No other details are available at this time.

Original – Two people have been shot in Sacramento, California. One victim suffered life-threatening injuries. The other victim is expected to survive. The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office reports that the shooting occurred in the 1900 block of Ethan Way in Sacramento.

A 15-year-old victim was shot in the chest and suffered life-threatening injuries. An adult male in his 20s was shot in the arm. The adult victim is expected to survive. The victims have been transported to the hospital for treatment.

At this time, detectives believe the shooting may be gang related.
