The Sacramento Police Department has announced the arrest of a homicide suspect in the double shooting on November 8, 2023. Patrol officers with the Sacramento Police  Department responded to the area of Del Paso Boulevard and El Camino Avenue in reference to gunshots around 11:21 PM on November 8, 2023.

Sacramento Fire Department personnel were dispatched to the scene. They provided life-saving measures until the victims were transported to an area hospital. One of the male victims was pronounced deceased. The second adult male received medical treatment.

On November 28, 2023, the Sacramento Police Department announced that it had identified 32-year-old Diamond Moore as a suspect in the homicide. According to authorities, Moore was apprehended in Reno, Nevada on November 27, 2023. Now, the Sacramento Police Department announced the arrest of a second suspect in the homicide.

40-year-old Angel Moore was apprehended in Chicago, Illinois. On December 12, 2023, Sacramento Police Department Homicide Detectives flew to Chicago to take Angel into custody.
