The Rockville City Police Department reports that a suspect has been arrested in connection to two stabbings in the 1500 block of Rockville Pike on October 13, 2024. RCPD says its detectives were able to identify a suspect in the stabbing.

Last week, authorities released a photo seeking the public’s help in identifying a person of interest. Detectives say that individual has been ruled out. Instead, RCPD detectives say they identified 28-year-old Muhammad Ibrahim Adam as the suspect responsible for the stabbings.

Adam was transported to the central processing unit. He is charged with Attempted 2nd Degree Murder, 1st Degree Assault, and Reckless Endangerment.
