The Rochester Police Department is currently investigating a double shooting. RPD officers responded to the 800 block of North Clinton Avenue following a Shot Spotter activation.

At the scene, officers found two adult males at the corner of North Clinton and Evergreen suffering from gunshot wounds. The men were transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Authorities believe the men suffered non-life-threatening injuries. A plain clothed officer was in the area and quickly responded to the scene. RPD says a backpack was found containing a significant amount of suspected narcotics.
