The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of Robert Kalkofen on 30 counts of Possession of Child Pornography, 10 counts of Sexual Activity Involving Animals, one count of Possession of Methamphetamine, and one count of Resisting an Officer Without Violence.

Crimes Against Children Unit detectives arrested Seminole resident Kalkofen. Detectives initiated an investigation after receiving information that child porn was being accessed and stored via the Internet.

Detectives say they identified the suspect as 44-year-old Robert Kalkofen. Detectives say they found videos of children between the ages of three months and 13 years. Detectives claim to have found a video depicting a child engaging in sexual activities with a donkey.

Kalkofen was arrested on July 31, 2024 and booked into the Pinellas County Jail.
