The Richmond Police Department has announced an arrest in connection to a fatal fentanyl overdose. RPD reports that Kimberly Jo Smith was arrested for level 1 Felony of Dealing a Controlled Substance Resulting in Death.

Authorities located Smith at a new address in Dayton, Ohio before taking her into custody on Tuesday. RPD says Smith will be extradited to Wayne County, Indiana where she will face charges.
