Zion Police say multiple people are dead following a residential structure fire in the 2900 block of Enoch Avenue. ZPD says its officers responded to a report of a structure fire around 11:52 p.m. on October 29.

The Zion Fire Department and ZPD personnel responded to the scene. ZPD confirms multiple residents were pronounced deceased at the scene. An occupant of a neighboring residence was transported to an area hospital after suffering smoke inhalation.

Police say the fire is still active at 2:15 a.m.
