The Renton Police Department is currently investigating a homicide that occurred around 2 p.m. on Friday. RPD reports that its detectives are investigating a homicide in the 3100 block of Northeast 18th Street.

The suspect reportedly called 911 to say he had stabbed someone. At the scene, officers found a 66-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. The victim succumbed to his injuries.

A 19-year-old suspect has been detained. No other details are available at this time.
