The Renton Police Department has announced multiple arrests in connection to an armed robbery in the 1100 block of Sunset Boulevard Northeast. RPD reports that a 14-year-old, a 15-year-old, and a 16-year-old are in custody. Investigators are working to identify a fourth suspect.

Officers responded to a robbery call at the aforementioned location around 5:21 a.m. on June 18, 2024. The victim reported that four teenagers entered the store, demanded the cash registers, jumped over the counter, and stole vape products and alcohol before fleeing.

Two of the suspects were armed. On the same day, Oregon police were involved in a pursuit with two of the suspects. Following the pursuit, a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old were apprehended.

On July 25, 2024, RPD officers arrested the 16-year-old suspect without incident. The suspect was reportedly wearing the same hat seen in the surveillance video. All three are in custody and facing multiple charges, including 1st Degree Robbery, 4th Degree Assault, Attempting to Elude a Police Vehicle, and Obstructing a Law Enforcement Officer.

RPD confirms the suspects are being investigated for possible crimes in other jurisdictions.
