Rapides Parish, Louisiana – The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that one of its deputies was involved in a shooting at the Academy Sporting Goods at 3205 South MacArthur Drive.
According to RPSO, one suspect was taken to the hospital by Acadian Ambulance. The Alexandria Police Department and Alexandria Fire Department have responded to assist.
The Central Louisiana Critical Incident Response Team is working to gather further information. No other details are available at this time.
