Queensland Police announced charges against 24-year-old man for inappropriately filming victims

Queensland Police have announced charges against a 24-year-old man for more than 160 offences following alleged incidents in which women were inappropriately filmed in various locations across Brisbane.

Authorities allege that the incidents occurred in bathrooms at Sunnybank and Saint Luca between May 6 and June 1. Detectives from the Dutton Park Criminal Investigation Branch investigated the allegations.

Following the investigation, a 24-year-old Woolloongabba man was taken into custody at the Brisbane Airport just before 11pm on June 11. Police seized the man’s phone which allegedly contained indecent videos of women in public places.

The suspect was charged with ten counts of enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence and 155 counts of observations or recordings in breach of privacy.
