The Houston Police Department has announced a charge of murder against 39-year-old Quan Flowers in the death of 24-year-old Megan Rouse. HPD reports that the victim was found fatally shot at 13700 Anagnost Road around 10:25 p.m. on May 3, 2024.
A patrol officer was out on an unrelated call down the street when they located the body of an unresponsive female in the roadway. The victim suffered apparent gunshot wounds. Paramedics reached the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
The victim was later identified as 24-year-old Megan Rouse. HPD says the investigation identified Quan Flowers as a suspect in the homicide. Flowers was taken into custody on May 31, 2024.
