The Pueblo Police Department is currently investigating a shooting. PPD says that it was notified that a 17-year-old male had arrived at an area hospital with a gunshot wound around 1 p.m. on July 10, 2024.

The victim is in serious condition. Police identified a suspect in the incident. PPD is currently in the 2400 block of Lake Avenue attempting to contact the party in question. Locals should expect a heavy police presence in the area.
