Prosser Police Department arrests Raul Alvarez on three counts of attempted first-degree murder

Today, the Prosser Police Department announced it had arrested an attempted murder suspect. According to a news release from the PPD, an attempted murder suspect was taken into custody in Prosser during the early hours of Sunday, December 17, 2023.

While carrying out a traffic stop on Kinney Way, officers located and arrested Raul Alvarez without incident. Authorities say he had an active $750,000 bail warrant for his arrest in connection to his alleged involvement in a recent shooting in the city of Grandview, Washington.

Alvarez was booked into the Benton County Jail where he is charged with Drive By Shooting, 1st Degree Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and three counts of Attempted 1st Degree Murder.
